Overnight oats in a jar (vegan recipe)


1/2 cup traditional rolled oats

1/2 cup almond milk (you can also use coconut milk)

1-2 spoonfuls good quality maple syrup to sweeten

A few drops of vanilla essence

Some chopped pitted dates

1 teaspoon Chia seeds (optional)


Mix well all the above ingredients in a jar. You can add more almond milk if you like it loose.

Close the jar tight and refrigerate overnight.

Top with some nuts or fruits of your choice. I have used almonds in my recipe.
